Le Sage is a software program dedicated to fast, easy and efficient publishing management.


Required configuration
----------------------

Le Sage work on Windows, either on a standalone computer or in a network. Apple users can use `Parallels desktop <http://www.parallels.com/fr/products/desktop/>`_. 

Le Sage is fast. About any computer capable of running a word processor will allow comfortable use of Le Sage.



Databases
---------

Since version 9.0, Le Sage uses the `PostgreSQL <http://postgresql.org>`_ database engine. This engine is powerful, fast, free and runs on
many platforms (Unix/Linux, MacOS, Windows, etc.). You can use it on your personal computer, or your company's servers or remotely "in the cloud".

For Cloud use, Le Sage offers great security by using encrypted SSL/TLS connections with required client and server certificates.
