Software protection
###################

Unlocking goes in three steps :

* you must provide your machine's **signature**
* I build the related key
* you install the key

Signature
=========

To obtain your machine's signature, open the "Configuration" screen, select the calculated signature and send it to me by email.
Please give me, for every signature, a unique identifier for the machine (brand and model or user name).

Installing the key
==================

The key I provide is made of two parts :

* a .REG file
* one or more .CBK file(s)

The .REG file must be executed (double click) at the initial program installation. It is not necessary to re-execute it
for every key update.

.CBK files must be placed in Le Sage's installation folder (usually c:\\LeSage), not in subfolders. Key updates will
overwrite previous ones.

Error messages
--------------

If, after installing the keys, you are still in demonstration mode, Le Sage will give you two different error messages :

* **Client code not found** : you haven't executed the .REG. Double click on its icon and say "Yes" when Windows asks if you are sure.
* **Key not found** : Le Sage can't find the .CBK files in its installation folder (c:\\LeSage). Make sure they are not in a subfolder.
